Gua Tempurung became a place of visit when David commented that he wanted to visit "natural" caves and not those that were too tampered by human beings.
It all began on 14 Jan 2008 when we visited Gua Kek Loke Tong - a temple built within the confines of some limestone hills in Gunung Rapat, close to Ipoh. The limestone facades were lovely but Man had introduced many human touches to the place as it was also a temple. Hence, the floors were paved with cement, the caves were well-lit and there were even garden chairs for those who just wanted to sit and enjoy the cool breeze and serenity of the temple.
